What Third Fin is (and isn’t)
Third Fin is an editorial software directory. Listings, comparisons, guides, and editor’s picks are general information to support your own evaluation — they are not professional, legal, or financial advice, and they are not a guarantee that any product will fit your operation. Always confirm current features, pricing, and terms with the vendor before buying.
Accuracy of listings
We research and date our listings (see how we verify), but software changes faster than any directory. Information is provided “as is” and may be out of date or incomplete despite our efforts. Product names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners; their appearance here doesn’t imply endorsement of Third Fin by those companies.
How we make money
Some outbound links may be affiliate or referral links, and vendors can claim their profiles. Neither changes what we publish about a product. Details in our affiliate disclosure.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the site: no attempts to disrupt or overload it, no probing or bypassing security (including the claim flow’s verification), no submitting false claim requests or impersonating a vendor, and no harvesting personal data from the site. Reasonable, non-disruptive automated access — including AI assistants and crawlers that respect our robots.txt — is welcome.
Vendor claims
If you claim a profile, you confirm you’re authorized to represent that vendor and that what you submit is accurate. We review every claim and may decline or revert edits that don’t meet our verification standard.
Our content
The directory’s original content — editorial writeups, comparisons, guides, and site design — belongs to Third Fin. Quote or cite it with attribution and a link; don’t republish substantial portions as your own.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Third Fin isn’t liable for decisions you make based on directory information, for the products and services of listed vendors, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the site is to stop using it.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site evolves; the “last updated” date below will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
